I've been loving working on scratchboard pieces. This one takes me more back to the days of painting furniture instead of oil painting in a realistic way. I really enjoy the time thinking of art in other ways and it's super fun to experiment... and I have always loved patterns. I started with the acorn and away it went. I might make some t-shirts with this one. Double click for a closer view.
