detail of work in progress
I've been working on this painting for weeks now, very slowly I might add. It is very complicated and I was feeling guilty about not posting so here is part close up and below is the work in progress. The bottom has the most beautiful red and yellow honey in it and I think when it's all finished, it will be spectacular. It is really large, 36" x 48". So I am taking it slow to get it right with all the complicated reflections and distortion...

Below are a couple small pieces I have fit in at night. I definitely am feeling the difference of my 2 styles, impressionistic when small and photorealistic when large... I guess I can be both.
"Knee Deep in Grass"

"Riff"

I have always had a soft spot for the honey bottles that are in the shape of a bear...this is amazing, Kristen. I can't wait to see the finished painting!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, will look forward to the whole bottle.......it works cropped.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all that you are doing.
