Had to paint the little teapot again and found some of my tiny red plums are finally ripe. We have these ancient fruit trees on our property that have gone wild and these red plums (Methley Plums) are so lovely when it is their time and we find some before the raccoons do...
I'm not sure how you do it, but the light/glaze effect you get on your subjects is so beautiful and so consistently done well. I love this little painting, and the angle is nice - different! I always love different!
