I was given some iridescent oil colors for Christmas by my husband and I thought that a peacock was the perfect place to try them out. I'm not sure the sparkles make their way into the photo here but it was a lot of fun to have some new paint. I generally only paint with 7 standard colors.
I cannot see the glint in the paint, but I must say this is quite a beautiful subject, Kristin. Beautifully and artfully done, for sure!
