This is a small study for a larger painting of this girl on the beach with beautiful curly hair. I started the big work today but decided I needed to paint a version of her face and hair first to get the right shapes. I really like how it turned out and have high hopes for the bigger version.
So sorry to hear about your loss, Kristen. I was rather worried about you, I confess. This painting is truly gorgeous. The model is lovely too!
