This eggplant is from the beautiful farmer's market down here in Chico, CA. I loved the shine on it and it's funny shape. (Once again, I apologize for average quality photos. I only have an iphone at the moment until I return home... I will retake them when I get there in a day or so.)
Here it is, 5:59 a.m. and I find myself now craving eggplant parmesan. Aubergine, indeed!
